Brian Askins has been in the industry since 1990, earning many awards, including Rookie of the Year in 1991 with Reliable Life and the #1 Agency in 2010 with Mutual of Omaha. After 24 years in corporate America, Brian began an independent agency named Secure Insurance Group with 4 agents in 2014. In 2023, Secure Insurance Group merged with Advanced Team Partners to form Lasting Mark.

Brian considers his greatest achievement to be his family: his wife, Patti, whom he married in 1989, their four children, four in-laws, and eight grandchildren.
